Beginning with version 2.11 all files in a distribution have a date matching the release date, and a time stamp where hours and minutes match the major.minor version number. (This will get interesting if samefile ever evolves past version 23.59 :-) The distribution tarballs show this date and time as well if your download mechanism preserves this information. You can use this information to see which distribution files you have modified or created.
Added large file support (files >= 2 GB).
Fixed a glitch in the man page; minor cosmetic changes. No code changes.
Implemented -0
option to read NUL
terminated file names so samefile
can process output
from, say, find . -print0 | samefile
.
Adapt distribution so it is easy to build RPMs from it.
Started making releases.
Various Linux distributions offer samefile
through their package installer (yum, apt-get, yast, ...).
